Something special at reunion dinner. A very good-to-outstanding wine. Deep ruby, medium bouquet. Lots of blackcurrant and raspberry with notes of vanilla. Medium-to-full bodied, refreshing acidity and medium flavour intensity. Long finish.

An outstanding Sauternes! Wonderfully complex due to its age, with refreshingly high acidity. A marked difference from the 2018 Coutet I opened in October (I know - way too early).
NOTES
Medium golden-amber. Powerful bouquet of raisins, dried apricot, honey, marmalade, chamomile, rum, almonds.
High acidity, full-bodied. Strong flavour intensity. Flavour characteristics consistent with bouquet. Long finish.

First Hungarian wine tasted, and a blend of 7 grape varieties! A very good wine, and great value.
Deep purple. Light-to-medium bouquet of blackcurrant, red cherries and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, medium acidity with rounded tannin. Medium-bodied, with a flavour intensity stronger than on the nose. Ripe sour cherry emerges. Medium finish.
