Immediately after opening there was no aroma at all and it took almost an hour to have some hit of strawberry and red berry notes on the nose. On the palate, tertiary notes was dominant with acidity at first however it developed in to notes of aged burgundy after an hour or so. Please give the wine some time. Quite impressive for a wine with almost twenty-years of age!

This bottle was in amazing condition. I was surprised by the complexity and freshness of the nose with layers of primary, secondary and tertiary notes. On the palate, tannin was soft and rounded but still young and with flavor notes of black berries and some sweetness. The wine developed it's complexity until about two hours and went down hill but it was quite impressive to taste this wine that I had cellared for almost twenty years. I would say the wine is at it's peak and can be enjoyed for another five years or so.

Drank my last bottle after almost 17 year of cellaring. The wine has passed the peak but was still in great condition and tasted very much like a fully matured Bordeaux style wine. Acidity was fresh and the finish was long lasting with very softened tannins.
