A striking aroma of banana creme pie accompanies a seamless, textbook brunello. Glimpses of strawberries, cranberries, and dried cherries with some vanilla and hints of balsamic vinaigrette and tomato stem frame the palate. Tannins were chalky and also worked into the structure of the wine nicely. Crisp and crunchy with a linear finish.
92 pts for me. Drinkable right now.

Straw color in the glass. A bit of funk at first, but then some light floral notes hit followed by some freshly sliced golden apples.
Stony bitter minerality at the forefront buttressed by zippy lemon zest and flecks of white pepper. Slight rose petal at the finish.
The acidity was almost there, but the lemony palate as a substitute works quite well. Simple, yet with a singing lemon note that gives the wine a medium+ finish. Perhaps the fruity notes would emerge with some rich, flavorful food such as Indian or Korean.

Brief floral aromas give way to blood orange peel, white pepper, grilled red fruits, and hints of olive and earth. Herbal and garrigue notes as well. Palate was a tad muted but had lively yet restrained peppery notes to accompany a thinner sliver of red fruit. Tannins were a bit bulky but were interesting compared to the elegance of the wine.
