  • This is even better and more elegant than my last bottle about 4 years ago. It showed similar fragrant bouquet and linear shaped palate full of gracious and mature raspberry tinged fruit fully integrated with discreet poivron and fine minerals touches leading to a long fragrant finish supported by ripe backbone. IMO this punches in the same league as much GCC claret from somewhere like Margaux. Very good.

  • A delicious medium+ bodied example of Loire Cabernet franc with deep colour, fragrant bouquet and palate full of mature raspberry tinged red fruit, just a touch of bell pepper, earthy minerals, leather, lively moreish acidity, ripe backbone and decent length. Very good.

  • Deeper red than usual for Loire CabFranc. Attractive nose of savoury red fruit with clay, graphite, wet leather and charcoal hints. The medium + bodied, linear and structured palate shows lively fruit, the beginnings of secondary complexity, earthy minerals, more wet leather hints, still quite firm tannins and crisp acidity which continues to mark the aromas on the long well supported finish. This wine's new oak treatment was well integrated in its 11th year and only showed it presence by a polished patina. Very good.
