  • Big, fruity, and hearty wine. Style is Heavy and lush. A nice under $15 wine.

  • SUCH an interesting wine; I just wish it was easier to find in the US. This grape is vinified for freshness; served just a bit chilled, this wine is perfect! It has amazingly intense floral aromas of violet and rose along with fresh mixed berries and a hint of spice. It may sound silly, but each time I pour a glass it conjures images for me of a fresh berry pie cooling on a window sill overlooking a field of wild flowers. It is the type of wine you just can’t stop smelling, but when you do drink, it has a lovely finish. Only problem is it’s meant to be drunk young so there’s no sense stocking up, but when you want it, it’s not easy to find in the US. When you DO come across it, grab a couple of bottles and check out this interesting grape from a region of Italy (Marche) that I wish we saw more of Stateside!

  • Yum. Fairly simple, but very tasty - just as described: lighter but elegant, with plenty of sour cherries and a bit of orange peel showing through. Also like the modest 12.5% alcohol - less guilt on the midweek pour. A winner. I'd definitely buy more.
