(Clos du Mont-Olivet "Cuvee Papet") This wine, for a Grenache, was pretty good. I have been hating Grenache recently but this one was nice. Not hot, not stewy and not too fruity. Those are my three top complaints about Grenache . . .so we were off to a nice start. This had nice acidity and freshness along with all the nice CDP garrigue and funk. I really liked this.

An Impromptu Wine Night (Mostly Rhones) (Los Olivos, CA): Not a great bottle relative to the half dozen I've previously had from this case, as the nose showed enormous volatility. While that VA eventually diminished, it never disappeared. Nonetheless, the wine showed plenty of nice tertiary notes in addition to the balsam/soy aspects, and had a lovely, rich texture with fine-grained tannins and an expansive finish.

Le note de dégustation de STEFANAKIKO résume parfaitement mon expérience avec cette cuvée dégustée il y a maintenant un mois (mi septembre 2022). Je n'aurais pas le talent de décrire aussi bien mon ressenti donc je vais juste me limiter à ceci car tout le reste était similaire :
-le nez très complexe à directement jailli à l'ouverture mais l'intensité s'est affaibli de manière très considérable après 30 min et était éteint après 1h.
- je n'ai pas eu la chance de déceler des notes de roses en fin de verre.
Cette cuvée en parfaite état et parfaitement mâture à été pour certains la préférée d'une belle série de bouteille. Si l'intensité était resté un peu plus longtemps ma note aurait était plus élevé.
