Warm baked medium red and dark red fruit. Palate showed some heat, mildly portish with thin mouthfeel. Finish was marred by heat as well. After 6 hours, heat smooth out to leave a thin, somewhat vapid wine. A little too round.

France vs. West Coast (Vancouver, WA): Reticent nose. Some subtle red fruits but that's it. The palate is much better. Smooth and well balanced with good weight. Nice finish with some interesting complexities.

Deep ruby red. Lovely complex nose of earth, cherries, and leather. Lush palate with smooth fine tannins and lively acidity.
This wine was spectacular and on point tonight. At or near peak and will drink well for several more years.

AN drank with Sheriden - nothing wrong with it, AN just hated it! Kind of [bad] port-like.

Hints of mint. Low tanins and ready to drink!
