Beautiful nose of baked black cherries and herbs de Provence with some spring flowers. This really shows the beauty and power of the 2010 vintage. This is an entry level CdP that doesn't seem particularly age-worthy, but here we are and this is just excellent. Med-full bodied, this coats the palate with sweet black cherry, cough syrup (in a good way) and more garden herbs. Bright acidity and moderate tannins, this is still fresh as a daisy and shows no signs of advanced age. Drink now-2028 92

Excellent nose of roasted black cherries and grilled herb switches with hints of grilling meat juices. Medium-Full bodied, rich and quite dense. Like all 2010 CdPs, this has a fantastic structure with good quality (and amount of) tannin and bright acidity. Absolutely delicious, this is nearing full maturity but may open and add complexity with another year or two in the cellar. Fantastic example of entry level 2010 Chateauneuf. Drink 2017-2023+ 91

More than commercial but not very distinct. Good color with some spice but very modest flavors, a decent acid balance, and a long red wine finish without heat despite the 15% alcohol. Completely evolved, the flavors are more Syrah then Grenache. A solid but not great wine.

Very typical cdp. Enjoyable. Very grenache based. Not traditional but not modern. Dark cherry. Spice. Alcohol. Worth buying at $40. Needs a year.
