NOSE: M(+) peach skin, salty ocean air, Provençal herbs, dried spiced orange peel, hint of white rose. PALATE: M(+) body, silky on entry, dried apricot, hint dried strawberry, M+ acidity still quite fresh for a 7 year old rosé, M alc (13.5% ABV but is starting to taste a bit hotter), M+ finish, M+ cplx; OVERALL: Tempier is the pinnacle of Bandol rosé (some would say rosé overall). Delightfully fun to taste a bottle that we aged sourced from the winery in 2013 - true to say that Bandol rosé ages gracefully!

It's uncanny how Tempier's Bandol Rose ages better than some reds. This is on to its secondary stage but remains expressive and pure, and declares its sense of place and longevity via its depth, structure, and complexity. Lovely notes of orange Creamsicle, peaches, strawberries, herbs, and grass are elegant, minerally, and persistent. Comes across as a beautiful Rose that is always in control. 92+

From magnum. Drank over 2 days. Night in the fridge. Color is more dark salmon/apricot than when it is young. The initial crisp and freshness is gone and instead it is more savory notes. Nice and long finish.

Surprisingly fresh. Sound, and quite lovely to drink.

one bottle was oxidized and the other was drinking really well. Surprised that one of them was still in fine shape given it was from a 375 ml
