This tasted a little riper, rounder than my last bottle a few years ago. Peak drinking. Notes of ripe pear, also some greenish apple, minerality, oystershell, some white peach, wet stone and also some flowery notes. It‘s medium-full bodied, with medium+ acidity that seems much more integrated and just a hint of tannic adstringency. Pretty long finish. A very beautiful Fourchaume, especially considering the hot vintage.

Aktuell noch lasch, langweilig und ein bisschen stumpf. Zur Zeit ist kein animierender Druck dahinter, sondern umbalanciertes Petrol. Falscher Zeitpunkt. Nächste Flasche 2027+

The most textbook nose of ocean and oyster shell I have ever smelled in a Chablis. Lemon, lemon curd, salt and slate on a fairly rich palate. Wonderful acid and minerality, long, salty, quenching. Really singing. NOTE: this was a Daily Drinkers selection courtesy of Justin Wells.

Youthful but accessible nose offers up appealing aromas of peach, oyster shell, and an underlying earthy tone. Full bodied for a Chablis with good density to the fruit and floral flavors. Saline finish with suggestion of oak.
