Very clean and fresh example. Extremely dry and crisp at first with nearly Sauvignon aromas of grass and hay. Expanded a little more with some underripe yellow fruit. Marshmallow, green apple. Precise and hyper focused. Power and finesse on the palate with plenty more yellow fruit in a texturally soft and elegant delivery. Continued to grow and expand. Big acid but ultimately well balanced. Pale gold in colour. Understated at first but shows up rather impressive by the middle. Purity. 93 - 94.

Simply a gorgeous wine, I really liked this a lot. Initially this showed a bit coiled and a tad bitter on the finish, but some air brought this to glory. Pear, lemon, flinty aroma's, melon, an elegant touch of oak combined with good acidity and a long finish made for a great wine in a relatively lean style.

In a very hot year, Jean Marc Roulot managed to make a fresh, precisely incisive, and quite powerful Tessons. A producer at the very top of the Cote de Beaune.

My first time trying this very sought-after producer. Initial pour yielded powerful buttery popcorn and green fruit aromas, which became flinty with time in the glass. Palate mostly pear juice with honeydew melon. The gunflint aroma reminds me of Domaine Leflaive. Still, the wine seemed a bit closed and needs several more years in bottle. I’m glad I tried but for this price point plenty of 1er crus that could out drink this IMHO. 93+

pale colour. Nose of petrol, white and green fruits. Palate is very clean. Good Acidity. Concentration focus more on the back part of the mouth.
