Light honey color. Lovely nose of stoney minerals indicating old world, damp cloth funk, unripe Granny Smith apple, citrus lemon, white pepper; cantelope melon, honey, honeysuckle, floral notes. Both sweet fruit and minerality on the palate: pineapple, papaya. I was surprised by the opulence and richness of this wine on the palate, balanced by some minerality. A very nice wine. I love Meursault so much, and while this isn’t my top favorite, it shows decent typicity.
