Tasted after 1 hour of air. Deep purple color. Opaque. Light floral on the nose. Blackberries. Spicy licorice. Nice high toned fruit. Very nice mid palate. I am really enjoying this. It packs a punch without over doing it like so many other Washington Syrahs do. Yes I'm looking at you Rocks District. Nice tang on the finish. Excellent.

Popped and poured. Dark ruby color. Big hit of red berry fruit with plenty of drying tannins and spice. Excellent balance. This doesn't get the press that other wineries get but Mike and the team always make solid well priced wines that bunch way above their weights.

Tasted on day 3. Wow this tastes like I just popped and poured. Very little if any signs of oxidation. Dark purple color. Slight hint of floral with some dark red fruit on the nose. Firm tannins balanced by the sweet fruit. That is what Mike, Scott, and Andrew do best. The balance on their wines is always spot on. Some tar. Hint of chocolate. Very interesting. Excellent QPR.
