Such a beauty. There’s wild plums, red cherries, blackberries, dried lilies, graphite, orange zest and cedar. Round and a medium-to full-bodied palate, with a long, stretched out finish. Well-strewn tannins that show grip in the back end, yet this is very approachable on the front. Staying power. My favorite young wine from here. I see no reason to rush, nor to wait. Classic. Drink now - 2039.

St.Emilion Grand Cru Classée values tasting: Both the 2016 and 2020 did not convince me today, despite me usually liking this producer. Much too ripe with plum and Rhum pot aromas. Hmm...

Savory red fruits, citrus, dried flowers, and tobacco leaf nuances form the core of this elegant, fresh, medium-bodied wine. There is vibrancy, cut, and freshness to the fruits with a blend of orange peel, kirsch, and savory herbs in the finish. This will be delicious on release and should age for close to 2 decades. Drink from 2023-2038.

Sehr feines Bukett mit ätherischer Tiefe. Dunkle Früchte, Zedernholz, Graphit. Geniale Frische am Gaumen. Tolle Balance. Perfekt reife Frucht. Geschliffen, geradezu kristallin. Sehr edles Holz. Lang und raffiniert. TOP! 92-94

Quite good, a bit old school, some mint, a touch of earthiness
