This is a Syrah (65%) and Grenache (31%) blend with a splash of Roussanne. The wine is aged at the chateau before release. The 2013 was released ~1-2 yr ago.
PnP’d on a Sunday evening and allowed it to open in the glass. The Syrah jumps out immediately on the nose, with blue fruits and savory olive and meat notes. The Grenache comes through with some dried leaves and red fruited undertones. It’s a captivating aroma. The palate is round and approachable. It’s balanced, though I wish it had a bit more acidity, personally. I’ll follow the bottle over the next 2 days to see if it improves.
Overall, I think this is a rather nice wine. However, I’m not sure it’s a rebuy for me at this price point.

Biodynamic property. 65/31/4 Syrah/Grenache/Rousanne. 18 months in barrel, 8 years in bottle before release.
Medium plus nose shows game, black pepper, iron, dark funk, black fruits, rocky feel. Palate is more elegant than expected, medium tannins, med plus acidity, still dark fruited with olive, old plum, pretty earth tones. Reminds of Cote Rotie but touch more approachable. Great wine.

Deep dark fruit, spicy nuance & cool blue fruit - nice acid. Bottle aged by the winery.

Red fruits, jammy raspberry nose.
Light palate, nice acidity.
Good overall wine but pretty high price tag.
