Pale barely there lemon in the glass, moderately aromatic nose of citrus and blossoms, palate is dry, fresh and crisp, citrus, Meyer lemon, kiwi, bright acidity, round mouthfeel, medium body, long finish. Delightful NZ SB.

Passable mass market NZ Sauvignon Blanc, good for the price, high acid, tropical and citrus fruit, good for a weeknight fish dinner but medium- finish and not the crisply cutting acidity and grassy/gooseberry flavors I associate with good versions.

In your face tropical fruits on the nose with a trailing hint of grass and green pepper. Tiny bubbles in the glass, so the winemaker is definitely adding a little CO2 here. They're trying to fake some crispness and freshness that the wine must have lacked. Thin and watery on the palate with a very one note presence; not much happening here. Short finish. This is barely passable in my book.

Bought this at a great price point. And it is truly representative of the Marlborough region from which it comes. But I have to confess this is my least favorite style of SB anywhere in the world it is grown that I have tasted. It is just too intense, too sharp, too much cat pee, for me. It is excellent for the style, but not for me. I will, however, have some of this with my corned beef as this is St. Patrick's, to see if the food tames some of the characteristics in this wine I find too extreme.
