Drank a bottle last night with friends over some simple dishes at home.
Yellow in colour, with a rich and fragrant nose. On the palate there are notes of pear and peach. The sweetness level is moderate and the sugar level is subdued.

4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Mike & Cyndi's): Light color. Aromas of minerals, orange blossom honey, and tropical fruit. Flavors of apricot and peach, with a bit of a tinny, metallic note on the finish.

Actually a 'fun' and rather interesting wine made from 100 percent Botrytised Roussanne... The nose displays a vivid array of melted beeswax or honey combined with subtle tones of lychée, tangerine and peach. The palate is full and lush with a finish lasting some 40 seconds. Overall impression is very positive, this is a fun and very nice effort. Age seems to do this effort justice. It is far more complex tonight compared to a couple of years ago.

(Bonny Doon Vineyard Le Vol des Anges Beeswax Vineyard) Medium orange color; apricot, honeyed nose; weird, tart apricot, apple, confectioner's sugar, chemical palate; medium finish
(Le Vol Des Anges) COLOR-medium amber/golden; NOSE-tons of honey; smoked apricots; a little peach fuzz; TASTE-I like this -- it's not too sticky; solid balance; a lot of pears & quince on the back-end; there's a sauterne-like feel for me; GV-??

Drank this with a close colleague over dinner at Rokeby and Wimbly Lu Chocolates tonight.
Colour is dark yellow turning light brown. Notes of fresh apple juice on the nose, with a touch of pears and raisins.
On the palate this wine carries some weight with restrained sugar giving a refreshing sensation on the palate.
Nice wine with balanced sweetness.

Slightly acidic and not very well balanced. With the right sweetness around it - paired with dessert, for example - not too bad.
