definite improvement in this wine over the last year. there is nice balance between fruit and acidity and a pleasing richness developing. there is little minerality nor any great complexity but this will probably drink well for another couple of years

Appearance: Clear, medium (-) lemon-green, paler rims and legs Nose: Clean, medium intensity and developing aromas of lemon, peach, lees, cream, straw and mineral. Palate: Dry, medium acidity with medium alcohol level. Medium body and medium intensity, showing lemon, peach, green apple, cream, lees and oak characters. Medium (+) length. Conclusion: Good quality Santenay with a good complexity in both fruit and malolactic characters. A reasonable intensity on the nose and palate is accompanied by a good length. A very balanced wine which is good to go with cheese. Ready to drink now but can benefit from further ageing of 1-2 years.
