Middels + lengde. God vin

Classic, rich, sexy, hedonistic RdD... in a great spot agewise. Classic fruit and secondary notes and just a touch tertiary. Enough acidity to balance the dark fruit, and super-silky tannins.
I don’t see this improving much, as it were. I expect a slow shift towards more teritiary flavors as the fruit becomes less vibrant. Not so much a decline as a lateral evolution... or perhaps it is a decline? Regardless, I loved it right now.

Purchased at the Pesquera winery in Spain (only $40 USD) after a charming tasting just before closing time. Cellared for a year and decided to open after a delicious Toro.
Pop and pour, very accessible with fig, strawberry, and leather notes. This is mature, and on the savory/dry side, meaning its just past its peak but very elegant and may appeal to those that like an old world palate.

Saftig. Modne toner og avslepne tanniner
