CT Seattle Offline II (Amaroso Room @ Bellevue Wine Storage): Very traditional old world wine, nose was a bit offputting though, got earth and dirt and straw on the tongue. Fruit was muted at this point and not coming through. Our 6th place out of 6 wines in the Northern Rhone Flight, but the group's third place.

Nice medium bodied Cote-Rotie. Dark red fruits, some smoke and a nice earthy finish. Agree this is drinking great now and wish I had more.

Drinking really well now. Nose of black olive tampenade, strawberries, tar, really good smokiness. Great tartness and uplifting acidity.
