Bought and drunk at Arlequin SF. Drinking beautifully now; takes an hr to open up but after that, just a wonderful aromatic wine. There is always a feeling of the domaine name and the masters wine seeming better than it is but nevertheless, adds to the experience.

Burgundy Fest 1.0 (Waterford Wine Co., Milwaukee): more firmness in the nose than the basic 09 Bourgogne Rouge from Roulot. tighter aromas, but the palate is much more giving with fruit. some mild oak, that gives focus rather than breadth. Easy ash, and again, all about the texture and really giving on the palate.

Burgundy 2009 Tasting with a few others: Still tight but very fine and juicy. Quite impressed.

Two vineyards so it has no vineyard label on the wines. Dark and full. Needing time but wonderful all the same.
