Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Collection of Weingut Immich Anker and two other goodies (Private Location): The Eisbruch comes from 60-70 years old vines. 90% grown on blue slate. South, South-West direction. 7,8 acidity, 5,3 gram sugar. Still super young nose with tons of white fruit and white flowers. Not much more. Needs time as there is something underneath. A hint more dry than the 2016 on the palate (which wonders me), good drinkability although with a certain kind of seriousness. A touch of salted lemon on the finish.

Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: 3 Guys, lots of Riesling (@Private location): Spontaneous fermentation, 60-70 year old vines, grown on mostly blue slate. Clear, pale lemon-green color. Clean, medium- intense, youthful nose with lots of natural lime, white fruit and blossoms. Still a bit muted. Dry (5,3gr residual sugar), medium+ acidity (7,8gr). 11,5% abv. Beautiful clear fruit, lemonade, fine mineral core. Medium+, very fine and fragile length. Needs at least 1-2 more years to fully blossom. 86-87+. Good PQR.
