Medium golden. Nose with low intensity first but getting better with time, giving some citrus and apricots, brown sugar, but as often at Catoir not very nuanced or complex. On the palate with orange rind, peaches, apricots with spices, chestnut blossoms and more intensity. Still a bit of CO2, but quite evolved and oh so sweet with low acidity. This is better with food, e. g. fruity desserts, I guess. 5/11/16/8. -2025. 89 points from the WA. Anyway given the pedigree and price disappointing.

2hr Audoze. Pours a golden yellow in the glass with a small amount of effervescence present from bottling. Nose and palate show tons of granny smith apple laden tropical fruits, brisk lemon, super acid and saline minerals. Lush midpalate remains playful and light on its feet. Finish is long and lush too ending with crisp apples dan acidity. A lovely wine with time on its side.

Pale gray gold, our first rieslaner The nose is raw honey, intense white flowers, fresh olive oil. The palate is soft, spatlese sweetness as labeled, white stone and pommes, with just enough acidity. The finish is long and mirrors the palate. This would be a terrific wine with fresh fruit dessert, but was also a pleasure with parchment roast trout.

Fabulous riesling, half sweet, best wine pairing ever with foie gras
