A: Very pale gold. Mousse is mid to fine. N: Pear-scented crayons. Odd. Bandaid/germaline/medicinal, grapefruit and biscuit. P: Acidic stone fruit slap in the chops falls away to a little grapefruit zest, lemon custard creams. Only 11.5% abv but feels hot on the throat. Out of balance. Body is watery and a pretty brief finish. A little bright acidity remains in the mouth.
C: Different to the usual blend of cava grapes (i.e.. parellada, macabeo and xarello) but no concentration here. Cava eschews concentration for volume and its a problem. Now their producers are doing the same in USA. It was only $10 and yes, you could taste that. Much better Carneros grown sparklers out there

Excellent sparkler. Nose of lemons, green apples and some spice. Finish has a little chocolate and spice, slight toasty flavor as it lingers.
