Popped and poured through a Vinturi, decanted. Deep ruby in color. Nose of deep, dark, black, brambly fruit, exotic sweet spice, a hint of vanilla, but mostly tightly wound blackberry fruit. On the palate most of the same but a very strong hay/earthy quality. A bit hot at the moment, not sure if this will integrate but time will tell.

Crimson red, concentrated nose of boysenberry jam, blackberry and macerated plums with hints of smoke and tar, big fruit bomb of boysenberry syrup and plum juice followed by spicy black and raspberry flavors, long finish dominated by heaps of black fruit - drink and enjoy or pour it over your waffles
