Acquired on site between 2007-2010. Part of a tasting “NV with age”.
At first to much cellar tones and nailpolish but whit a bit of air a brilliant wine. Seawater and lemonpeel on the nose. Lots of age but still fresh acidity. Vanilla and sherry notes.
Quite a few participants had this as the least good wine but just as many as the best one, no one thought it was bad though!
Conclusion: Let your NV rest some time in your cellar!

On the nose, Vanilla, sherry, marzipan
On the palate, Citrus,vanilla, fudge, sherry, almond and marzipan.

Base 2009.
More open and lively than the 2008-base I tasted last year.
Will still improve a point or two with cellaring.
A great champagne in its price-range as always!

Unknown base but bought at site in 2009 so guessing late 1990/early 2000.
Nevertheless, it's brilliant! Cream, grilled lemons, vanilla and saline. Still fresh fruit and acidity. Long aftertaste. These gems will easily keep for a decade.
