Beautiful VR Brulees with good transparency and weightless power. In the context of a 2010, I expect more weight on it. Would love to revisit it again in 2-3 year. 93++

Weekend in Michigan with Wine; 8/5/2023-8/6/2023 (Asian Spice House - Buchanan MI): Tasted double blind. Spice and concentration immediately made me think this Vosne 1er Cru from a very balanced vintage, and then I was thinking this destemmed fruit when another great taster called this as Méo-Camuzet. Complex and savory spice with so much red fruit, this comes across as fully harmonious and elegant, with a charming start and bigger finish. Probably some further upside, and will drink wonderfully for a decade+ as it evolves.

An extraordinary wine with incredible perfume of ripe red fruits and spice, on the palate it is structured (slightly fuller body than I expected for a 2010), with very fine tannin and perfect balance.
At this stage it is still dominated by the secondary notes but it is just a matter of time until the tertiary aspect shows. It has all the making required to be standing with the greatest brulees ever made.

Deep nose of dark fruit, spice. Wonderful depth and balance on the palate. Kept improving over 3+ hours. Plenty of upside.
