Color indicates it still has many years of life left. Very complex nose of coffee grinds, dark fruit and licorice. Palate shows nice fruit and tertiary flavours and fine tannins with nice freshness and a long finish.

Drank with the boys at Minstral at Stratton post-SB. Bright red color, pleasant nose of red fruits and some wood. The wine was fairly 1-dimensional, tasting of red berries, some oak, and a bit of spiciness with a certain softness that made it easy to enjoy. Not a wine to spend much time pondering, but pleasant enough and a good bargain. The vintage no doubt brought out the most in this pomerol.

Subtle mushroom, leather, dried currant and boot polish nose. Medium bodied, complex and integrated plate. Evolving finish.

Bordeaux Vinexpo 2013 (Saint Estephe/Sauternes/Pomerol) (Bordeaux (F)): Full ruby/blood red, with pink rim.
Complex nose, with vegetal and red fruits notes. A bit "angular" and tannic, but good fruit. Nice but young, lacking some structures.
