Chambolle Northside 1er (Zoom / Chicago): 09/10 flight. Really attractive nose with layers of red cherry, herb and spice. Beautiful and classically Chambolle palate with silky, elegant, lacy red cherry fruit with intense floral accents.

Chambolle-Musigny "Northside" 1er Cru Tasting (Chicagoland IL): Alongside the 2009. Bright red cherry and berry, lithe and well textured with good weight. While not quite as concentrated as 200, this was enticing and enjoyable both now and for the future.

Chambolle 1er (Chicago): Next to the Feusselottes this was slightly less ready and effusive. It did open up over a few hours and reach a similar level of cohesion, though I'd describe the tannins here as a touch more coarse and in need of cellar time.

Last tasted in March 2019. Equally impressive this time. Well balanced. Started well and improved over the evening.
