This 1990 late harvest Riesling from the Sierra Foothills is a dark caramel color. The bouquet is of wet earth, dried apricots and honey. The palate is a little disappointing and I feel that this wine's better days are behind it. There are subtle nuances of dried apricots, palatable sweetness but not enough acidity to make it special. The finish is short and uneventful. If you have any bottles left I would suggest drinking over the next year or two.

Sweet, dark amber in color, notes of prune. Beyond prime
