  Dark garnet red. Raspberry puree and baking spice nose. Light to medium bodied, loads of sour cherries, cranberries, drying tannins, savory herbs, and a medium finish. Still going strong, but unlikely to get better.

  Rusty red color. Raspberry, spice, and forest nose. Medium bodied, lots of strawberries, pepper, cranberry juice, well integrated tannins, a bit of heat, and a fruity, medium plus finish. One of the best sub-$15 bottles of wine produced in California.

  Somewhat but not completely corked. Thinner than it should be with more astringency and alcohol. Some air seems to be helping, but in the end it's corked.
