Apples and grass on the nose, with hints of pears. The taste was lovely mineral, citrus and sprinkles of pineapple/sweetness, with a balanced acidity. Very Hugel in some respects but lacks the final oomph of their higher quality wines. A very good blend of some traditional grapes from Alsace.

Technically well-made (balanced acidity, no out-of-balance alcohol), flavors from many different varietals, but as a result, not focused, nothing terribly interesting. (this was drank by itself)

Solid wine. Lots of flavor and good acidity. Dry. Great aroma. Not as spicy as other Alsacian wines I've had, but still quite good. Paired well with dinner (fish) -- yet seemed to pair even better with dessert (strawberries). Good value.

Good solid Alcasian wine. We have always liked this and this bottle was no exception. Slightly dry, but with a hint of spice and sweetness. 89-90

Very pleasant, aromatic and well balanced. Could use a bit more acidity but overall this is very good quality for the money.
