Smakte som en hvit Rhône etter åpning. Etter en uke i kjøleskapet er den mye bedre. Lang og fyldig. Litt utypisk riesling som kanskje er preget av en varm årgang 2011.

Falling in between Mosel and Pfalz stylistically (but closer to the latter) this wine possesses all the traits that I associate with a grand cru Riesling from Germany. Tropical fruits including mango, lychee and maracuia, red apples, acacia flowers, honey and subtle yet persistent note of petrol characterize both the nose and the palate. Racy acidity is balanced by copious amounts of residual sugar while dense and viscous texture gives it a meaty and almost chewy feel in the mouth where the ripe stone fruit dry extract covers every nook and cranny giving a taste bud staining sensation. This kind of "heaviness" makes me subtract a point or two from an otherwise stellar expression of an utterly classic German Riesling.

Juicy, mature apples. Stings from acid and minerals. Long digg taste. Just to bad it
Was the last bottle.

Flowers and tropical fruits in the bouquet. Minerals, pineapple, ok balance between sweetness and acidity and a good length.
