Drank together with 2011 Domaine Montrachet at Bymark, blind. Deep gold. Very forward citrus and pear with some exotic fruit complexity. Wood totally integrated. Palate was mouth coating, with great acidity and balance. Near perfect , except for the comparison to the Montrachet. What a treat. As DG noted, it was like two race cars pulling out going through the gears and ultimately the Montrachet had one more gear.

really good. the nose has complex aromas of butterscotch, honey, spearmint ang tangerine. in the mouth mineral driven, with loads of citrus, but still having the densely bodied lactic quality, as if i were drinking sweet churned butter. rich while being nervy. impressive wine.

Tasted blind. This wine really delivered. Nose of green apples, lemon curd, crunchy corn. On the palate it is both nuanced, elegant and has a great mid mouth fill. A great Chevalier. Still young. 96+

Expressive nose of lemon curd, flowers, minerals. Light and fresh but not lean on the palate. Really precise and racy. Excellent

So much freshness with strong lime and citrus flavours. Simply delicious but can only get better from here with more age.
