From the reviews I expected to throw this out. But even at this advanced age there was a good nose. Pretty weak on the mid-pallet but nice acidity. The alcohol is the killer here. Too much for the weight of the fruit. Good for everyday spaghetti. I'll keep.

Mostly mute nose. An Old World wine made in a New World, palate bruising style. Alcohol is very noticeable. Not much in the way of complexity or nuance.

Sangiovese made in an international style. A bit ripe and hot. Some licorice accents.
