  Sadly, three last bottles all in various stages of oxidation. Two past their best but drinkable (just). Other further gone. Shame. Very rare with this producer in my experience, but fair enough given age, appellation, and vintage I guess. Oh well, not indestructible!

  Took a good 30+ minutes in the decanter to mellow the matchstick. After that, creamy lemon curd took over along with green apple, pear, nuts, and orange rind. Tart and crisp with a creamy mouthfeel. Had with fresh Steelhead topped with honey and pink peppercorn-lemon-thyme spice...one of the best pairings I've had in a long time.
