There is nothing remarkable here. Very dry, in fact, you need it to warm considerably to detect any RS here. Steely nose with teeth clenching acidity. Even the nose is quite reclusive.

{screwcap, 12%} All lemon and lime. A touch floral too. The palate does have medium acidity, but there's a soft edge to it. For riesling it's verging on full-bodied and rather monolithic and a bit too young to be interesting. Yet it feels to have lost some bloom compared to 'youthful' riesling. I sometimes wonder if Mesh is a wine in search of a style. Hard to imagine Grosset and Yalumba would give up their best grapes for this hybrid offering. Pleasant enough, although not entirely convincing. I'm not sure there'll be benefit from cellaring.

Moreish aroma of minerality and just a hint floral, fairly closed overall. Not as zesty as I was expecting but soft lemon, juicy lime, slightly tart green apple and good mineral flavours. Long and overtly dry finish. Lovely round mouthfeel for a Riesling. Overall quite enjoyable with obvious potential, but not a Riesling for me to drink young. Hoping it matures well.

Wonderful acid structure, crisp citrus notes with years ahead. Affordable quality Rizzy from the hands of some of the best in the business.
