Last of my 6 bottles greatly enjoyed with beef short ribs. This wine at 11 is so much better than its modest price tag would suggest. Deep dark color, pleasing if subtle nose and with an excellent core en bouche that arcs into a long satisfying finish. Great structure suggests a few good years ahead. Classic notes of pencil lead and iron. Kind of wine that struts Bordeaux’s inherent greatness and the power of 2010 vintage

Bought several bottles for 20/b from a local independent shop about 8 years ago; this is #2. Solid cork. Decanted with heavy sed for its age. Dark purple; ripe blackcurrant and blackberry nose; Merlot-dominant rich black fruit palate, bit of molasses; good mouthfeel; some persistence. Relatively fruity for a Bdx (for the non-FR market?)--thoroughly enjoyable for me but perhaps not for a traditionalist. Going strong with some life ahead. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since arrival. My evaluation (see earlier posts for my 4-category, non-point rating system): This is notable+ when considering quality, age, and price.

At the risk of seeming lazy, I can't add anything to what legarejm stated in the most recent comment (March 2020). S/he nailed it. But the cellar lifer of this gem is perhaps even longer. It was perfect last night with strip steak.

Still tons of life left in this wine. Pkeasant density, weight and structure. Very nice drinking and could have benefited from decanting
