  • This tasted like it's on the decline; Both the nose and palate were rather monolithic, with straightforward flavors of dark fruits and fading tannins on the finish; Drink up if you have them

  • From memory: Black fruit, pine needles and pepper on the nose and palate, completely resolved tannins. Not bad, but shamed by a slight spritz. In any case; drink up if you have any of these tucked away – they won’t get better.

  • Decanted for just under an hour before tasting. Medium purple core, pink rim. Cherries, pepper, herbs and oak on the nose and palate. At first this wine seemed pretty tight and tannic, but it opened up nicely during the course of the evening. Obviously still very young, but approachable today with enough exposure to air. Good concentration and length. All in all a very pleasant wine, but misses out on a point or two due to noticeable alcoholic heat.

  • This is ripe and deep, but it has also good acidity and a nice tannic bite on the finish. Complex, interesting taste with earthy notes and herbs such as rosemary and cloves, and overall this is a remarkably balanced, classy wine. I wouldn't have imagined to enjoy a 100% Grenache this much, but this is really excellent.

  • Great balance of blue fruit, mineral, and a truely savory finish, almost gamey...all that with the weight of a Pinot. Real nice wine
