Amazing as usual, great nose of cream, peach and stone fruits, opens with time. Very nice limey, minerally finish. Long aftertaste, great acidity. Stunning.

The nose bristles with lime and peach whilst the palate is soft, full and creamy. But for a slightly saggy mid-palate, this would be an absolute blinder.

Wow. This has the zip of a more mundane Vinho Verde but with so much more complexity and body. At this price, it's a steal and was a standout in a lineup of ~6 different white wines served at an all-seafood cookout.

As other TNs note, this is better after some air time - it rounds out to a nice, luscious, layered wine. Citrus, green apple, peach, salinity, white flower, almond, minerality. High acidity, medium+ body (benefits from sur lie aging). Long crisp finish with fruit, nutty, and minerality notes lingering. The skin contact (hence the name Contacto) apparently adds a little zip to an already zippy wine. I love Albarino (or, in this case, Alvarinho) more every time I drink it. Refreshing, complex, layered, delicious.
