Better on day 2. Too tart, too much lemon, and pronounced acidity for me on PnP. That said, by hour 2-3 after opening, it had become more cohesive. The real balance, and some needed depth of flavor really set in on day two. 13,5% abv., natural cork; should drink thru 2026, at least. Based on that, I can easily recommended

The nose is sleek, classic, and quiet. It shows stones and minerals, a strong herbal component, grass, and peach pit. The palate is light and austere, showing lime, peach pit, minerals. Airy and transparent. The finish is a tad bitter with peach pit, minerals, lime rind - quite pretty. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 4.5+?/6, Finish - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1-1.5/2 = 15.5-16/20.

Beautiful straw color. Very classical melon and apple notes on the nose. Smooth refined palate not reflecting the high alcohol level(13.5%). Beautiful silky finish. A wonderful wine to drink now with almost anything except red meats. Will improve for many years.
Wachau Spring Wine Festival (Wachauer Weinfrühling) (The Wachau): This South-West facing vineyard (if I've got my geography correct) is in the big terraced arena that opens up on the North bank of the Danube at the hairpin in the river between Dürnstein and Weissenkirchen. The wine has an attractive, delicately perfumed nose of white peaches and pears, a streak of lime, and a good bit of minerality. It's a well-structured wine, underpinned by well-integrated acidity. € 17. ****+

Dry but with clear hints of fruit. Will do well for years.
