Not as great as the earlier bottle; a bit disjointed like it hasn't come together yet. No sign of it being past peak; still plenty of big dark fruit and vegetal notes, esp. on the palate. Improved some with air and was definitely better the second day.

Had with Thanksgiving dinner and it blew me away. Complex nose with dark fruit and dates. On the palate, no hint of tannin, just nice structure with more rich fruit, medium to long finish. Great by itself and even better with the turkey and stuffing.

What I will say is this wine is consistent, as my previous note still holds. Very light with little nose and mild Cherry flavors. Next to no finish, if I were tasting this blind I would never guess Cab Franc. I'll stick to the lovely Finger Lakes Rieslings from now on.

It was maybe more fruit-forward than I usually have in Cab Francs, decent varietal character, pleasing, more in the mouth than the nose, overall smooth and drinking well. A glass+ left in the bottle for the second night became "flat" or limp, not bad, but the air did it no favors.

Very unique flavors, but poor nose and finish. Not bad for the Finger Lakes, but was expecting more from a cab franc. I would say the jury is still out, we'll see you the next bottle does.
