This Sauterne is like drinking a sugar coated pear!! Excellent balance and finish ... love it !

I drank this wine over several days out of half bottle and it kept getting better, generally a good sign for aging. Displays a fairly light color that is generally consistent for such a young sauternes, but sparkles a little more in the glass with nice typical notes of peach, honey and vanilla. I'd say the acidity is medium, and at current levels, integrates really nice with the fruit. Probably a producer that does not get enough credit, I think this wine is totally ageable, with a nice 10yr life ahead of it easily. Very good value for the money.
