  • The nose is slightly gamy with light highlights of flower oil. the palate shows a nice integration of bright rhubarb and hints of raspberry with secondary game and mineral notes. Light body but creamy texture when it warms up. Good, tart, mineraly length. Beautiful texture frames the earthy notes beautifully. Everything I could want in a Provence/Bandol Rosé!

    Very reliable and good value.

  • A blend of Mourvèdre (40 %), Cinsaut (30 %), Grenache (20 %) and Carignan (10 %), fermented and aged in stainless steel and concrete.

Pale peachy rose color. Succulent, fruit-forward nose with a mélange of sweet red fruits and ripe tropical fruits. There are aromas of sweet raspberries, tangerines, some peachy stone fruits, a little herbal aromas and a touch of maraschino cherry. On the palate the wine is dry, but pretty weighty- full-bodied and suggesting obvious ripeness. There are opulent, vinous flavors of juicy strawberries, some yellow tropical fruits and hints of ripe citrus fruits. Overall the wine is balanced with moderately high acidity, giving the wine impressive structure. The finish is rather spicy with some succulent peach flavors, hints of stony minerality and even a slightest touch of tannic grip.

A pleasant, weighty and serious rosé that is very delightful on its own, but also capable of pairing with even pretty hearty dishes. Although abviously a Provencal rosé, this is still surprisingly vinous and substantial in character with impressive structure. An effort a notch or two above an average Provencal rosé. Terrific stuff and worth its price even at 18,45€.

  • Somewhat restrained nose of red berries. Very dry on the palate, refreshingly acidic, delivering discreet red (lingon)berries with a slightly austere finish. This is acidic and tight, but very balanced and racy. A great food wine.
