  • Opened 3 hours before serving (was pretty open from the start). Brownish red. Nose of smoky cherry and some green herb/earth elements. Terrific palate with medium fruit, gritty expansive tannin and energizing acidity. Not particularly complex, but this was really interesting from nose through the entire palate experience. Great alone, but also a perfect match for a white pizza with blue cheese and grilled ribeye slices.
