Much more red–fruited on the palate than the recent Dutschke St Jacobi. Malty, jubey, slightly ferrous. Even and balanced, this is a very tidy wine for the money. Pretty fruit softening. Acidic backbone and with resolved tannins.
Drink now. Aways impresses with its VFM.

Nice wine! Stood the test of time. It is a little bit watery in the beginning, but shows a nicely balanced fruit, wood notes and well integrated acidity and tannins. Absolute bargain! Nice to drink now! Wouldn’t wait longer, peak drinking now.

The rather bright nose of cherry, plum and lilies is a standout.
Nothing really pops out on the palate, other than it being red-fruited with a floral character top note. Supple tannins. Pretty good length for a relatively simple wine of humble origin.
Opinion: Perfectly acceptable, well-balanced, mid-week drinking. Don’t leave too much longer for fear of more fruit loss.

Screwcap, 14% alc.
Deep red with minor bricking.
Dusty cupboard, plum, and eucalypt on the nose.

A beefy plummy delight. Silty tannin and enough length.

Drunk over 3 nights. Sensational bottle. Best yet. And I don't even like Shiraz these days. Fruity oaky vanillan goodness.
