Day Three in Burgundy: Rousseau, Marchand, Dugat, Jadot (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at domaine. Plum and blackberry aromas, very lush, almost jammy, with good background spice. Identical fruit on palate, slightly more spice. Also slightly backward today, with firm structure in the forefront, with lots of tannins, albeit well textured. As always, the Claude Dugat cuvee in need of the most cellar time.
