Beautiful ruby color. Earthy, dark cherry and Cassis on the noise. Bright acidy tart cherry and cedar notes. Wine held up great. Good on its own - better with the grass feed ribeye. Cellar tracker said drink by 2016- they are wrong.

Textbook Carneros Pinot, bright red fruit, spice, and acidity. The wine has gained weight in the last two years which a certain richness. Drinking fine now and will probably continue that way for at least another few years.

Still good in 2018 even though optimal drinking age was 2016. It had began to break down but still nice flavors of plum, coffee, and chocolate.

Not as earthy as a burgundy, but good balance and structure. Very new world style. Alaina did not enjoy.
