I haven’t had a D and R with this much age on it- this walks that fine edge between fruity and feral like many of their wines - the aromas are now a bit more funky and the fruit a bit thinner but it’s still really good.

Day 1. great nose on openning, after 2hr decant (shouldn't have done it) light, some mourv flavor on the back. Day2. Nose sart out sweet grapy, pallete was spice and full, great, nose eventually evoveld to be spice and less grapy.

Pretty red fruit. Improved aromatically with about an hour of air. Well balanced with a kinship to Cru Beaujolais in terms of texture and crunchiness. I like this a lot.

A Good Monday: Dirty & Rowdy & EDWC YEAH! Tasting in ATL: Showing it's age a bit. Only one tight that feels tired. A little heat is left behind. Moroccon spice. Cinnamon. Ultimately, it feels Slightly over the hill.

Lots of barnyard funk initially. Left half the bottle corked on the kitchen counter for 48 hours and the wine really opened up.
