decanted 1/2 hour. Super perfumy, floral and sweet cherries. Initial impression of very sweet dark cherry fruit evolves into more complex herb with maybe even a hint of tea and mint. medium bodied with a long sweetish finish. delightful with seared pork chops. probably at peak, but seems to have just enough structure to hold a couple more years if well stored

Made with about 40% whole cluster, 13% ABV. Spicy/lightly stemmy aromatic, which also gives it a perfumey note. Cranberry and dark cherry. Juicy with plenty of structure to let the wine evolve further.

Lovely. Initially reticent on the nose, blossoming after several hours with luscious bing cherry, spice, earth, black tea and savory mushroom. Palate is on the darker side -- black cherry -- with more black tea, mushroom and spice. A bit lacking in structure -- could use a bit more tannin and acidity -- but overall an excellent effort.

Time to drink! Still rich ripe flavors with just enough remaining structure to drink well, but tannins and acids are almost gone.
